Succession planning and salary compression. Client had a large number of long-term supervisors and managers approaching retirement causing salary compression and the need for succession planning.
Client presented with 8 management/supervisory positions that needed to be filled within 1 year due to lack of succession planning with additional positions openings in the upcoming year.
We met with our client to devise a plan to address recruiting for the most pressing positions due to retirement timing. We assisted in developing job descriptions in order to better form the scope of the job. After salary compression issues were revealed, we worked with client to resolve.
Effectively recruited and placed all 8 positions and are currently still working with client to fill new openings.
