Strengthening Our Foundation: Highlights from the FTS | Flexblue 2025 Summit

We recently had the incredible opportunity to bring together our entire FTS | Flexblue Staffing team under one roof for our Summit—a meaningful and energizing event to kick off our 10th anniversary celebrations. As we mark a decade of growth, success, and partnership, this Summit wasn’t just about reflecting on what we’ve accomplished—it was about setting the tone for what’s next.

Celebrating 10 Years of Excellence

This year’s Summit was more than just a gathering; it was a celebration of how far we’ve come since 2015. From starting with one employee to building a company with a strong presence throughout the Gulf South, we’ve grown through hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to partnership, integrity, and our people.

One long-time client summed it up perfectly:

“We’ve been working with FTS for more than 10 years, nearly as long as they’ve been in existence. That says a lot about the trust and reliability they provide.”

What made this Summit even more special was having the opportunity to include team members from our two recently acquired groups—Tech Serv and Reliant Nationwide Staffing. Integrating these new teams into our culture is incredibly important to us. As we continue to grow, maintaining a unified, people-first culture remains one of our top priorities.

Bringing every team member together, old and new, was a powerful reminder of how crucial it is to stay connected, aligned, and focused—especially during times of expansion.

Investing in Our Team

One of the primary goals of the Summit was to invest in the people who drive our success every day. We focused on training sessions that sharpened our skills in teamwork, sales technique, and process improvement—all with the purpose of elevating how we serve both our clients and our associates.

Brandon Smith, President of FTS | Flexblue Staffing, emphasized the significance of this investment in his address:

“This Summit is about more than where we’ve been—it’s about where we’re headed. Strengthening how we manage client relationships and staying proactive is key to our growth. Regular, intentional communication with our clients not only deepens the partnership but opens the door for new opportunities to serve.”

That proactive communication is something our clients count on every day. As one partner noted:

Building Trust and Stronger Teams

A key theme throughout the Summit was the importance of trust in team dynamics. We hired a professional facilitator to lead interactive group exercises designed to break down barriers, encourage collaboration, and emphasize how trust forms the foundation of high-performing teams.

With teams now spread across multiple locations and growing rapidly, fostering trust and communication has never been more important. These sessions allowed us to better understand each other’s strengths, perspectives, and challenges—building stronger bonds and ensuring we remain unified as one team.

Communication Styles: Learning to Adapt

One of the key takeaways shared during the summit came from Sierra Davis, Recruiting Manager, who offered thoughtful insights on the importance of adapting communication styles. Reflecting on her experience, Sierra shared:

“What really stuck with me during the Summit is how crucial it is to recognize that not everyone communicates the same way. When we take the time to understand how someone processes information, we can collaborate more effectively—not just internally, but with our clients and associates, too.”

This adaptability resonates with our clients as well. One shared,

 “I get very personal attention when I have an issue or need to make changes. They are flexible, even if I need to bring someone on payroll faster than expected.”

At the end of the day, the Summit was about more than just training—it was about reinforcing the culture we’ve built and integrating that culture across all teams.
